46 NOLN | www.noln.net Tech Spec: 2017 Audi Q7 NUTS & BOLTS Audi recently released an all-new 2017 Q7, with an all-new lightweight, multi-material body and chassis. e SUV's leaner appearance translates into an approximate weight reduc- tion of 475 pounds compared to the previous model. Towing capacity has increased to 7,700 pounds, with an optional towing package. Some other design and body highlights in- clude full LED headlights available on Q7 mod- els for the first time, 21-inch Audi Sport five- twin-spoke design wheels, power-adjustable, power-folding, heated exterior side mirrors with memory and power tailgate with available hands-free opening and closing function. e all-new Q7 also features an improved in- terior space with more headroom, legroom and shoulder room in the second and third rows, and seating for seven standard on all models. e available Luxury package with Valcona leather includes individual contour front seats with ventilation and massage functions, an ex- tended Leather package, Alcantara headliner and power soft-closing doors. It also features a standard panoramic sunroof with tilt and slid- ing features, as well as a power sunshade. ere is available adaptive ambient lighting with 900 color combinations and a standard three-zone automatic, available four-zone automatic, cli- mate control system. e 2017 Audi Q7 is packed with the latest infotainment technologies and driver assist features. Audi's virtual cockpit features a 12.3- inch display that helps make viewing and nav- igating via the large Google Map images sup- ported with 4G LTE easier on the driver's eyes. An available full-color head-up display projects relevant driving information directly in the driver's field of vision. In the case of an im- pending accident, Audi pre sense basic can in- tervene to prepare the vehicle for impact. is process includes closing the side windows and panoramic sunroof, pretensioning the front safety belts and preparing the brake system for a quicker response during an unexpected or emergency maneuver. Rear cross traffic alert supports the driver when reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. For the first time on the Audi Q7, night vision assistant with pe- destrian and large animal detection is available. e Audi Q7 is offered with standard Quat- tro all-wheel-drive and a choice of engines: standard, 252 horsepower, 2.0L turbocharged, four-cylinder or an optional, 333 horsepower 3.0L supercharged V6. A 2017 Q7 carries a starting MSRP of $54,800. A top-of-the-line Q7 Prestige, with a 3.0-liter TFSI engine, eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive, with a Valcona leather interior, 21-inch Audi Sport wheels, the Driver Assist package, Cold Weath- er package, Luxury package, Towing package, night vision assistant and Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System will cost a driver just north of $83,000. Servicing the 2017 Audi Q7 At 10,000 miles or 12 months and then every 20,000 miles or two years: • Fill diesel exhaust fluid (AdBlue) com- pletely with fresh fluid and adapt learned values for AdBlue tank under guided fault finding after filling fluid (TDI models) • Check brake system for damage and leaks, thickness of pads and brake fluid level • Check that the vent caps are mounted on brake calipers and check the condition of the brake hoses • Change oil and replace oil filter • Check engine compartment for leaks • Check for tire wear and damage; check tire pressure; reset tire pressure monitoring system • Remove water from water separator in fuel filter (TDI models) • Add washer fluid, if necessary; check head- light adjustment and function of headlight washing system Motor Oil: synthetic meeting VW 502 00 or VW 504 00 (Gasoline); synthetic meeting VW 507 00 (diesel)
