Note these recalls apply only to items that could affect vehicle occupancy safety. Items listed under separate manufacturer technical service bulletins are not always covered by warranty. 2017 Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte Maserati North America, Inc. is recall- ing certain vehicles manufactured July 1, 2016, to October 12, 2016. e rear differential unit pinion may not have been properly tightened, allowing the pinion nut to loosen. A loose pinion gear may bind, possibly resulting in the rear wheels locking up and increasing the risk of a crash. Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear differential unit pin- ion nut torque, and, as necessary, replace the rear differential unit, free of charge. 2010-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit General Motors LLC is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit vehicles manufactured Au- gust 24, 2009, to December 1, 2013. e affected vehicles, equipped with special equipment options for police or government service, may experience cor- rosion of the underhood cooling fan as- sembly due to fluid intrusion, which may result in an electrical short circuit. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire. GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fan motor and shroud, extend the wiring and re-orient the fan motor to reduce the risk of corrosion, free of charge. 2013-2016 Ford Fusion; 2013-2015 Lincoln MKZ Ford Motor Company is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Ford Fusion ve- hicles manufactured November 2, 2012, to July 31, 2014, and 2013-2015 Lincoln MKZ vehicles manufactured November 14, 2012, to July 31, 2014. In the event of a crash, heat from the de- ployment of a seat belt pretensioner may cause a front seat belt anchor cable to fail. If the driver or front passenger seatbelt cables cannot properly restrain the front seat occupants, they would be at an in- creased risk of injury. Ford will notify owners, and dealers will apply a protective coating to the seat belt cable, free of charge. 2007-2008 Hyundai Entourage Hyundai Motor America is recalling cer- tain Entourage vehicles manufactured February 16, 2006, to June 30, 2008. In the affected vehicles, the secondary hood latch may corrode and bind and re- main in the unlatched position when the hood is closed. If the primary latch is in- advertently released and the secondary latch is not engaged, the hood could un- expectedly open while driving, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Hyundai will notify all of the owners. For vehicles originally sold, or ever regis- tered, in Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michi- gan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Is- land, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia, dealers will replace the second- ary latch. For vehicles in any other state, dealers will inspect and either lubricate or replace the secondary latch, as necessary, free of charge. 2011 BMW 528i, 535i, 550i BMW of North America, LLC is recall- ing certain model year 2011 BMW 528i, 528xi, 535xi, 550i and 550xi vehicles manufactured March 1, 2010, through August 31, 2011. e affected vehicles may have received a replacement Sensor Cluster Unit (SCU) during a service visit. ese SCUs have an acceleration sensor that may have been incorrectly programmed and, as a result, the SCU may not accurately determine if activation and deployment of the air bags, safety belt pre-tensioners and head restraints is necessary in the event of a crash.
